Privacy
What information this website receives, why, and how long we keep it. Written from how the site actually works.
Who receives your data
MONOLITH, the studio that runs this website. You can write to us at any time at contact@themonolith.ro.
What we receive
When you send the brief we receive what you filled in: the brand name, the options chosen at each step (your field, what isn’t working, what you want to achieve, what you already have, what you’re interested in, when, and how you found us), the text you wrote, your name, email address, phone number if you leave it, and your preferred channel. We also receive the source of the visit: the parameters of the link you came from (UTM), the first page you visited and the site you came from, if your browser sends it. We do not ask for documents or an account.
Why
To reply to you and, if you ask us, to prepare a proposal. The legal basis is your request to be contacted before a possible contract. The source of the visit shows us which channels bring enquiries. We do not use the data for marketing and we do not sell it.
How it reaches us
The form sends the data to the server that hosts this website. The server forwards it by email to the studio’s address and keeps a copy in a folder that is not publicly accessible. If we use an enquiry management system (CRM), the same data goes there too. To protect against automated messages, the server keeps an encrypted fingerprint of your IP address for at most one hour, never the address itself.
How long we keep it
For as long as the conversation lasts and, if we don’t work together, no more than 12 months after the last message. If we do work together, we keep what legal and contractual obligations require.
Who else sees it
Our hosting and email provider and, if we use one, the provider of the enquiry management system, only to transmit and store the messages. We use no analytics, advertising or social media services on this website.
In your browser
We use no cookies, analytics or tracking tools. Fonts, scripts and images are hosted on the same server, so your visit does not reach other companies. Your browser keeps only: your day or night choice, the draft of the brief until you send it (so you don’t lose what you wrote) and the source of the visit, until you close the window. You can delete them at any time from your browser settings.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, its correction or deletion, restriction of processing or a copy of it. You can also complain to the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro).
